Can i trip on Mucinex DM, and how many should i take to trip?

I have some Mucinex DM pills with the ingrediants dextromethorphan hbr 60mg, and guaifenesin 1200mg

You have to be one dumb son of a **** to put that crap in your body. Do you know if you happen to take the wrong amount, or your body has an allergic reaction to the medication, that you could have a heart attack or even a stroke? You're probably some young kid who just wants to get high. Don't do something stupid that could ruin your life or endanger your health for the rest of your life.

For all of you being negative... just stop... but yes you can trip on mucinex very easily. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide is what can make you trip. Now as a forwarning tripping on this stuff isn't good for you if you do it a lot back to back. DXM when taken at high volumes can cause brain lesions, however if you don't take it the next day they will heal with time. Tripping on this is one of the crazyiest trips I've done. Its like tripping and being srundrunk at the same time and yet sometimes getting an out of body experience. Dosages I will not give because each person varies. Tripping on this stuff is not bad or scary if you know what you're doing. I wouls not suggest anyone do it that hasn't tripped before. I've really enjoyed every time I've done it personally but I won't be anymore cause I have kids now. Theres no reason to be mean to people asking questions because they are curious. Now have some fun but be safe its not a thing to play around with dosages or anything.

People that judge and take time out of their day to criticize questions like these annoy me. Anyways, I'm no expert on this. But I had the same question this morning. I ended up researching and getting actual answers and took 4 of the mucinex dm extra strength pills. I took 2 the other day to kind of test my body with it. The person that answered my dosage question recommended 200-300mgs. Quoting him: " 200-300 mgs that will get you to the stage of when you close your eyes you can do anything(Second Plateau). 300-360 i would say is third plateau which you will feel like nothing is real and **** gets cartoony and you dont feel in reality. And i wouldnt go any further. "

So I took 4 amounting to 240 mgs dxm.. The only thing that could suck is getting nauesous fom the other ingedient in the mucinex. I dont feel sick at all though. I stood up for the first time in like an hour and a half and it hit me lol. Trippyyyy

Yes obviously you can, as anything that has dextromethorphan in it can make you trip. I have taken 5-7 max strength and tripped hard. I just took 5 and threw up so pretty soon I should feel the trip starting. Anyway if you take as much as I, I suggest locking yourself in your room and finding a youtube playlist to listen to while tripping. Although people have different interpretations of the music while high on DXM most say that it is either a muddy sound that sounds cool AF or it is clearer than they have ever heard it being. Also if you do my dosage, it will really make you examine yourself no matter if you want to or not. I always find myself thinking deeply about my strengths and weaknesses.

Yes you can. I took 15 dextromethorphan hbr 30mg, and guaifenesin 600mg. You should take 6-8 because you have the extra strength type.



However me and my friend just woke up from a mucinex trip and while it was fun durring it, my friend is now pissing blood.



I do not know why or if it is even because of mucinex. I have taken it many times and it never happend to me.



...So my recomindation dont do it. Make a date with some good old fashion Mary Jane instead.

I took 4 1200mg and 1 600mg one night, it was my first time doing it in pill form because DXM also comes in forms like robotusin. Anyway I took 5 and scared myself into throwing up but it's fun to do when you're with people. I'd suggest maybe 3 or 400 1200s your first time and then work up from there. And don't do it alone especially if you get scared easily. You can also snort about a whole pill and it has a good effect just for less time but it only takes like 30 minutes to work and when you take the pills it takes like 2 hours

From personal experience, i took 7 mucinex pills which totaled to 210 mg of dxm and 4200 mg of guaifenesin, i there wasn't much effect from the dxm so i decided to have 1 beer, beer mixed with dxm makes you feel really drunk which was kind of fun, but eventually the guaifenesin kicked in and i ended up sprinting to the bathroom and puking my guts out twice, but after that i felt great, a couple of hours later i ended up having some mild diarrhea. the "hangover" the next wasn't bad, and i felt pretty energized. so if you want to get high off of dxm I highly suggest you avoid anything containing guaifenesin, hope this helped :)

I just took this for the first time at school two days ago. I took 6 with my friend and I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, just a normal high like weed or something. I was wrong it was the worst day of my life. I had to skip 5th and 6th period because I was laying in the bathroom floor and was throwing up. All my friends had to walk me to class and had to carry my stuff and they were scared. I couldn't walk and my vision was AWFUL and it was exhausting, I refused to go to class. My older sister left her class for 30 minutes to come in the bathroom and talk to me and help me. When we finally left school, she had to walk me to the car and take me home to take a nap and we went to the mall later for something and then I threw up there too. The drugs didn't wear off until I woke up the next morning. I can truly say I will never again do that in my life. My friends were very scared for me and so was I.

If it has DXM,I suppose you could trip, but I wouldn't recommend ingesting DXM via pills as it kills your liver. Best way is to buy the strongest Robitussin you can in a store and pour about half a bottle in a sprite and sip on it. If not half a bottle than pour more. IT takes effect pretty quickly so you'll be able to tell.

You can trip off this medication, yes. however, if you want to trip off cough syrup i would STRONGLY suggest you go to your local safeway or Rite-Aid and get a product containing ONLY dextromethorphan HBr/dextromethorphan polistirex. the guaifenisin in this particular product will make you feel very sick and you will probably vomit before feeling any effects. with the pure dex HBr/polistirex products you will still likely feel sick, but it is much much less pronounced than when they have other products in the mix. for a first time tripper you should take about ~250 mg worth of dex. again, go to the store and get a product containing only dex, you will have a MUCH better time.

my boyfriend struggles with pill addiction, I would not recommend putting high dosages of dxm into your body. Taken out of recommended dosage could be very, very harmful. I have seen it first hand.
