The best cure is prevention in the first place. MRSA is a form that is antibiotic resistant -- it got that way because of the overuse and overprescription of antibiotics. It's a man made problem. Of course, conventional medicine will just throw more antibiotics at it.

Treatment depends on where the infection is and how bad it is, and in many instances there is no cure. Your best bet is to stay out of hospitals which have become a primary breeding site, and doctors and nurses who aren't careful about changing gloves between patients or don't follow age old protocols for hand washing can spread it from one patient to another.

Some natural treatments that have worked include grapefruit seed extract, colloidal silver, wild oil of oregano and various Homeoapthic treatments determined by a professional Homeopath.

The best cure I've seen in most infections of the respiratory system, is Azithromycin, for adults it's 500mg per day, 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after, taken at once, during 3 days, at the same hour each day, and in the last day it would be good to take some 150mg of Fluconazole if you don't want to have fungi. It's a remedy which eliminates most symptoms of even strong infections, during some 4 days after the beginning of this treatment. Be aware though, it's a strong antibiotic, so it affects birth control pills effectiveness (and more side effects you should consider). It's a relatively new antibiotic, discovered in 1980, and first sold as medication in the beginning of the '90s in eastern and central Europe.

Both come in various commercial names, depending on the supplier.

If you aren't sure what you got, or if you take additional medications, or you know of some kind of allergies you may have, then consulting your doctor is mandatory.

Your doctor will prescribe an appropriate antibiotic.

As for "colloidal silver" and all that homeopathic rotgut- save your time and money.
