I have a fever and I'm afraid of being at the mercy of streptococcal of sorts. I have a history of being susceptible to its worst conditions. I can't go to the DR because I'm in a foreign county. I need homeopathy advice, herbal remedies. Can anyone help me?

I don't think fever leads to strep throat, I think fever is a result of strep throat.

I've read that vervain is used to treat fevers. I've never used it but I'm actually going to my health store to get some tomorrow. So maybe see if you can get vervain. It is a plant. I think it comes in liquid and pill form.

Homeopathy is not in any way the equivalent of going to see a doctor. Being in a foreign country is not an impediment for you to see a qualified (a real medical professional, not a quack like a homeopath) doctor.

For your fever you can take one 500 mg paracetamol or acetaminophen pill every 4 to 6 hours. Acetaminophen is an over the counter drug and you don't need a prescription for it. See a doctor if the fever does not resolve for the next few days or recurs.

A book was compiled specifically for the self-help of fevers and colds some yars ago. His name is Dr P Crockett. The book`s available still I think, from Nelson`s and?or Ainsworth`s Pharmacies in Central London.I have hd strep, and had both allopathic and homoeopathic treatments.

it relatively is actual sufficient. i could take concern with Pangel in basic terms somewhat right here. I agree that all of us has some therapeutic skill, comparable as all of us ought to play the piano somewhat. Doing it properly takes practice and a few practise is a help. There are quite few super pianists, and - imo - there are quite few super healers. till you start up working at it, who's conscious how good you would be able to properly be? decide for it!

Well, one of the complications of a fever is dehydration, water (homeopathy) would actually be of benefit here.

If you suspect you have an infection, see your Doctor.

Actually, some of what Nosey said isn't too bad. It isn't necessary to medically reduce all fevers.

The rest of what she said is completely and utter tripe of course. Homeopathy does not have any biological effect. I also remember that Nosey is a germ theory denialist.

Let the fever run it's course!! Your body is trying to kill whatever is causing the increased temprature! Do the things that boost immunity 1) good food, 2) See a good chiropractor 3) take high quality supplements (whole food concentrates, not synthetic) 4) drink lots of clean water!!

if your fever isnt in the dangerous levels, let it stay, the fever kills the ilness, things like tylenol make the fever go away and make you feel beter, but increases the time needed for recovery,

if your fever starts getting in dangerous levels, take an ice cold shower, if it gets any higher, call an ambulance

oh, and by the way, im also not a doctor, so my oppinion shouldn't replace that of a licensed doctor

Forget homeopathy it's crap and those who practice it are liars. Take the liar here who's talking about aspirin killing flu patients. Just take a fever reducer like Advil or Tylenol.

ok, so, take two paracetamol (aka acetaminophen) tablets and put them in a glass of water. Take 1 drop of this and put it another glass full of water. Take the first glass and swallow the contents (this step is important). Now, take a drop from the second glass and put it into the empty first glass and stir it well. Drink both glasses. If it gets worse, guess what, other countries have doctors too.

Yes, you can go to a doctor. Far better than getting advice about a fake treatment (homeopathy) from well-meaning but deluded internet kids.

You can always go see a professional Homeopath to get rid of your susceptibility. Every country has a prof. Homeopathic association that you can find online.

If your fever doesn't hit 104 you have nothing to worry about. People run to doctors unnecessarily when there's absolutely nothing that can be done and it's not even recommended to "do" anything.

Fever is your body's natural response to burn off harmful invaders. If you take aspirin to lower a fever it means that whatever is triggering it will just hang in there longer.

During the 1918 flu pandemic people who took aspirin dropped dead. Most of those who didn't survived, especially those who went to Homeopathic hospitals and Homeopathic doctors. It's well documented in the historical record.

Dilute 650mg of acetaminophen in a mouthful of water, swish around in mouth and swallow. That should bring down your fever.
